We are using the old 80's Transfomrers cartoon series as base for the storyline of the rp.
But with some changes.
We're playing the story right after the death of Optimus Prime by Megatron in the battle at Autobot City on Earth from the 80's movie (Cartoon).
Changes:
1. After the battle at Autobotcity on earth, where Megatron and Optimus Prime killed eachother.
When Starscream on the away from the battle with all of the Decepticons, and they dumped all the wounded out into space along with Megatron.
Megatron and the others did not get picked up by Unicron and offed to be rebuild to serve him. Instead they just contiued to float around in space.
At Starscreams crowning ceremony a group of ontill then onseen Decepticons came lead by Magnatron, he killed Starscreamy crushing him with his magnetic powers and proclaimed himself leader of the Decepticons.
No one dares oppose him, since he crushs anyone that tries with his power!
Plus he's rules them just like Megatron did it, and many of the Decepticons like this since its nearl like Megatron never died, also he never goes into the field, instead he makes others into field commanders and means that alot other Decepticons get the chance to lead others.
2. Primus is the true creater of the transformers.
And cybertron is his stasis mode.
3. The Quintessons came to cybertron and took over the planet, and inslaved the transformers. Later they found out how to make them, and started producing them.
They were eventually overthrown and driven off the planet by the transformer rebellion!
4. Primacron did not build Unicron, Unicron is the same as he is in the comicbooks.
5. Optimus Prime did not pass the Matrix of Leadership to Ultra Magnus nor is Hot Rod the chosen one to bear it.
(The one chosen to bear it and be passed it to by Optimus on his deathbed is yet to be decided, as soon as some one makes a character for the role as the new leader of the Autobots.)
